Victory Elegant 30 Inch Wall Mount Range Hood with Remote Blower
The Victory Elegant 30 inch wall-mount chimney hood pairs a stainless canopy with a 450 CFM remote blower. The motor sits in the duct run or on an outside wall instead of inside the hood, so less fan noise stays in the kitchen.
Motor out of the room
The 450 CFM blower mounts inline or on an outside wall, so the loudest part is away from the kitchen.
Knobs that just work
Mechanical rotary switches control the fan and dim the lights. No touch panel to fuss with.
Built in stainless
1 mm, 19 gauge 304 stainless steel body with stainless baffle filters.

Installing it
How it goes in
We sell Victory hoods but don't install them. These steps summarize Victory's installation manual so you and your installer know what's involved. Always follow the manual and local codes.

Test first
Check the hood's lights and controls before mounting.

Plan the blower location
Decide where the inline or outdoor blower goes and add a brace to support it.

Add backing
Screw plywood to the wall studs behind the hood. Do not rely on drywall anchors.

Mount the hood
Fit the 6 inch transition and screw the hood to the backing 24 to 30 inches above the cooktop.

Run the duct
Connect 6 inch metal duct from the hood to the blower and out to the cap. Tape every joint and insulate in cold climates.

Chimney and filters
Install the chimney bracket and covers, then the grease tunnel and baffle filters.

Frequently asked questions
Inline or outdoor blower: which should I pick?
Both are 450 CFM. Pick inline if the blower can sit in the duct run, for example in an attic or crawl space. Pick outdoor wall-mounted if your duct exits straight through an exterior wall. Review the path with your installer before ordering.
What duct size does it need?
6 inch round metal duct. Do not reduce it to 4 or 5 inch, avoid plenum boxes, and keep the run as short and straight as you can.
Does it have to vent outside?
Yes. It must be ducted to the outdoors through the roof or a side wall, with a backdraft damper.
How high above the cooktop should it go?
Between 24 and 30 inches from the cooktop to the bottom of the hood, per the manual.
Will it fit my ceiling?
The included chimney fits 8 to 9 foot ceilings. Victory sells extensions for 10 and 12 foot ceilings.
Do I need make-up air?
Possibly. Many local codes look at kitchen exhaust above 400 CFM. Ask your installer or local inspector what applies in your town.
